Letter of Recommendation for Arifuddin Mohammed
I am happy to write this letter. Arifuddin was my Master’s degree student during 2016 and worked
in my Autonomous Systems Lab at UTA Research Institute. He was also in several of my Control
Systems classes, where he secured top grades.
Arifuddin is a highly skilled individual and took the lead in the AS lab working on projects that
involved control of robotic ground vehicles. He developed new methods for control of these
autonomous systems and became an expert with several software tools including Robot Operating
System (ROS), C++ and others. He worked on several projects including cooperative movement
between an AR Drone Aerial vehicle and a Jaguar ground vehicle using AR Tag detection. He is
proficient with various networking protocols.
Arifuddin was one of my lead students and is a pleasure to deal with. He is patient and is extremely
good at working with other students.
I can state that he will excel at any job position. He has taken a variety of courses at UTA and his
GPA is very good. He is an ideal choice for your position.
