 As a Head of the Department and eminent researcher at the University of Fiji, I have published over 45
doctoral and postdoctoral research papers during 2013-2015 only which is significantly more than the
maximum number of research papers including all faculty members from all Departments in the UniFiji, in
reputed international journals in USA, Germany, New Zealand, Georgia, Nigeria, India and most of them are
indexed in different databases of Google scholar, British Library Direct (www.direct.bl.uk), Statistical Theory
and Method Abstracts-Zentralblatt Database, ZMATH, Indian Science Abstract, Scientia Research Library etc.
Such tremendous record of research publication has never been in past TEN year’s history of the University of
Fiji since its establishment in session 2004-2005. Some of these published research papers are listed in the

Issue, June, 2014.
 Leaded as Head of Department and an instrumental role to establish the Doctor of Science (DSc) postdoctoral
research degree programme in Pure & Applied Mathematics/Statistics/Reliability Engineering, Quality
Control and Operations Research at the School of Science & Technology, The University of Fiji, Fiji Islands
from July 2014. Due to my initiative and successful efforts the post-doctoral degree-Doctor of Science (DSc);
a higher doctorate degree than PhD/DPhil was approved by the competent authority/body of the University of
Fiji and the University Administration announced to offer the post-doctoral degree-Doctor of Science (DSc) in
session commencing from July 2014 through its Brochure and newspaper ‘The Jet”, June/July, 2014, Issue 55
(page no.7, www.thejetnewspaper.com) It is remarkable that the approved post-doctoral Doctor of Science
(DSc) programme in Sciences & Technology at the University of Fiji is the first initiative for Fiji Islands and
Asia Pacific Region. In addition to this, at the same time the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) was also offered by
the University of Fiji in specialized fields of Pure & Applied Mathematics or Pure & Applied Statistics and
Operations Research.
 Leaded successfully as Chief Administrative and Academic Head of THREE Engineering Institutions
approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India and
recognized by State Govt. of U.P./Rajasthan-(i) Vision Institute of Technology Aligarh affiliated to U.P.
Technical University, Lucknow (ii) Shekhawati Engineering College affiliated to Rajasthan Technical
University, Kota (iii) Shekhawati Girls Engineering College affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University,
Kota; where Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in SIX core engineering branches-Electrical/Electronics &
Communication/Mechanical/Civil/Computer Engineering/Information Technology, Master of Computer
Application (MCA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in
Computer Science & Engineering, and Electronics & Digital Communication Engineering have been offered
with faculty members of all cadres of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Sr. Lecturers and
Lecturers of varying number in range of 50-200 specialized in different engineering and allied sciences and
other supporting and non-teaching staffs of about 25-100. By virtue of my post of Principal/Director of these
THREE Engineering Institutes and expertise in relevant subjects/area I was the appointing and terminating
authority. Therefore, as per requirement I appointed many more teaching and non-teaching staffs in different
Departments of engineering and sciences and also terminated few teaching staffs following due process after
careful review their unsatisfactory performance at Vision Institute of Technology Aligarh, India.
 Leaded successfully approx 75-100 technical faculty members comprising Professors, Associate Professors,
Assistant Professors and Lecturers as Dean Academics at Institute of Engineering & Technology, Sitapur
approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, New Delhi, Govt. of

India and recognized by State Govt. of U.P and affiliated to U.P. Technical University, Lucknow, India where
Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in SIX core engineering branches-Electrical/Electronics &
Instrumentation/Mechanical/Civil/Computer Science & Engineering/Information Technology, Master of
Computer Application (MCA), and Master of Business Administration (MBA) have been offered. As a Dean
Academics of IET Sitapur, UPTU, I designed, framed and implemented number of academic and research
policies in the interest of teaching staffs and the Institution to grow them up to considerable target which were
utmost needed for enhancement of quality education in modern era of technologies.
 Leaded as Head of Department of Applied Sciences and Engineering at several Engineering Institutes and
Universities. As Head of the Department, I always suggested and recommended to the management authorities
for implementation of feasible and applicable academic policies with significant instrumental role and
reasoned facts for unprecedented Departmental and Institutional development. Because of my strong
recommendation for implementation of feasible, consistent and fair academic rules and regulations parallel
and commensurate to regulatory/statutory Indian national Agencies- AICTE and UGC New Delhi, Govt. of
India, I was always treated as the most key administrative and academic staff in all educational Institutions and
Universities. And as Head of Department of Applied Sciences (Mathematics) and Engineering at several
reputed Engineering Institutions since 2002, I leaded/headed many more faculty members of all cadres from
Lecturer to Professor having with Master’s and Doctoral qualifications.
 As Head Examiner of Central Evaluation appointed by Prof. (Dr.) Dev Brat, Vice-Chancellor of U.P.
Technical University, Lucknow (U.P. State Govt. University) for supervising and monitoring the central
evaluation of over 20,000 Answer Sheets of NINE Theory Question Papers of Bachelor of Technology
(B.Tech.) & Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) during session 2005-2006, I leaded and supervised over 200
Examiners/Faculty members including all cadres of Professors, Associate Professors, Readers and Lecturers
from different Engineering Colleges of U.P. and belonging in nodal area for proper evaluation. As Head
Examiner of the Central Evaluation I succeeded to complete this challenging target/project with cooperation
of Prof. (Dr.) Vinay Kumar Singh, Deputy Head of Central Evaluation within 10 ten days.
 As Head Examiner of Central Evaluation for FOUR terms during 2001-2004, appointed by the Prof. (Dr.)
S.S. Katiyar, Vice-Chancellor of Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur (U.P. State Govt.
University) for supervising and monitoring the central evaluation of over 15,000 Answer Sheets (Theory
Question Papers) of Postgraduate (M.Sc./MA) students from over SEVENTY FIVE among its 300 affiliated
degree colleges. As an eminent Expert of Subject I was Paper Setter and Moderator of Linear Algebra and
Operations Research for postgraduate (MA/MSc.) students of these affiliated degree colleges and I leaded and
supervised over 150 Examiners/Faculty members including all cadres of Professors, Associate Professors,
Readers and Lecturers from different degree colleges affiliated to Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University,
Kanpur and some other State Universities of U.P.-Dr. RML Avadh University Faizabad and Dr. B.R.
Ambedkar University Agra (U.P.). In all my FOUR terms for Head Examiner of Central Evaluation during
2001-2004, I succeeded to get all due respect and honors without any interruption and hence completed this
challenging project for proper evaluation with sincere cooperation of all Examiners of Central Evaluation. It is
remarkable that Prof. (Dr.) Rajeev Kumar Srivastava, then Professor & Head, Department of Mathematics,
Khandari College, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Agra was one Examiner among others under my supervision
who has been my Postgraduate Teacher/Professor in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at Dr. RML
Avadh University Faizabad (U.P.). Prof. (Dr.) Rajeev Kumar Srivastava surprised and commended to know
my appointment as Head Examiner of Central Evaluation at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University,
Kanpur during his evaluation and personal meeting in its Evaluation Centre-Library Hall. I was very much
fortunate to meet Prof. (Dr.) Rajeev Kumar Srivastava as my colleague as well as my Postgraduate Teacher
and was pleased to get his well wishes (Ashirvad) who later became as Dean, Faculty of Science at Dr. B.R.
Ambedkar University Agra, UP during 2008-2010.
 As Flying Squad at Institute of Engineering & Technology Sitapur in Semester Examination-2008 of its
Undergraduate and Postgraduate students conducted by U.P. Technical University, India I supervised and

monitored successfully the examination till its completion. It is remarkable here that as per academic rules and
regulations of U.P. Technical University Lucknow, Flying Squad is fully authorized to book any student for
unfair means and debar in his/her Examination. Even, Superintendent of Examination Centre and /or Director
of the concerning Institute has no power to demean the decision of Flying Squad provided his/her decision is
fair in all respects.
 As Controller of Examinations at Singhania University, Rajasthan I leaded and monitored all examination
related matters with sincere cooperation of TWO Assistant Controllers of Examinations. Over 2000 students
of Undergraduate and Postgraduate level in different subjects from different Departments of Sciences and
Engineering appeared in the University examination and the process was over with all successes.
 As an Observer of Uttar Pradesh-State Engineering Entrance Examination (UP-SEEE) appointed by Prof.
(Dr.) Durg Singh Chauhan, Vice-Chancellor of U.P. Technical University, Lucknow during 2004, I conducted
successfully the Examination at its Faizabad Centre-Jhunjhunwala Degree College, Bypass Road, Faizabad;
where over 35 Invigilators and Administrative staff including its Principal as Superintendent of Examination
participated for successful completion the target.
 After completion of my first Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) in Mathematics & Statistics from Dr. Ram
Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad and due to my cumulative credentials I was enrolled for my
second higher doctoral degree D.Sc. (Doctor of Science) in Mathematical Statistics with its Enrolment No.
K/1/2001 and DSc research topic “Statistical analysis of certain queueing models with applications” from
Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur (an old and reputed State Govt. University of U.P.) in
September 2001 only (14 years ago) while Prof. (Dr.) S.S. Katiyar was the Vice-Chancellor of that
University.
