 JRF – 31,00/- for first 2 years & 35,000/- for SRF (Senior
Research Fellowship)
 A NTA NET/JRF qualified candidates can become a mentor in
online or offline classes for NTA NET/JRF aspirants
 A NTA NET or JRF qualified candidates can become an employee
of highly reputed PSUs in India
Online examination
Duration of exam : 3 hours ( includes both paper 1 &
paper 2 )
First shift : 9:30 – 12:30 pm
Second shift : 2:30 – 5:30 pm
Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (
without rounding off ) in Master’s degree or equivalent
examination from universities / institutions recognised
by UGC
The Other Backward Classes (OBC) belonging to non-
creamy layer /SC/ST/ Persons with disability (PWD)
category candidates who have secured at least 50%
marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or
equivalent examination are eligible for the test
Age limit to apply for NET: Nill
Age limit to apply for JRF:30 years
SC,ST,OBC,PWD, Trabsgender and women candidates
are given an age relaxation upto 5 years
Validity of JRF: 3 years ( from the date award letter )
Separate cut-off for
general/OBC/SC/ST/PWDcategories
50 multiple choice questions
Each carries 2 marks ( Total 100 marks )
10 subjects ( 4-6 questions from each subjects )
Each correct answers carries 2 marks
There is no negative marks
