• 1ST computer took the portion of the room and consisted of
series of cabinets with reel to reel tapes, flashing buttons and
toggle switches.
• 1960:- APRANET(Advanced Research Projects Agency
Network) was formed.
• 1970:- The term internet was first coined.
• 1980:- DNS (Domain Name System) was formed. By this time
around 25 different countries connected to the network.
• 1990:- Dial-up connection was established. HTML(Hyper Text
Makeup Language) was developed.

• Berners-Lee came up with the concept of world wide
web.
• Broadband:- This really boosted the development of
internet, they didn’t require the phone line to connect
and used a cable TV line instead.
• 2000:- cyber attack on the sites such as yahoo and e-bay .
• Cellular data:- with invention of cheaper mobile with
network, internet really started to take off.
• By the end of 2018 there were about 5.3 billion
smartphone subscribers.

It indicates that the user wishes to
execute a transaction.
E.g.: buy something
Navigational search
When they want to visit a specific
site or find a certain vendor.
E.g.: You tube
Informational search
When the people are looking for
information.
E.g.: how to cook
Commercial search
This is made when you are
considering an transaction.
E.g.: blogging platforms

• Voice controlled and AI powered devices have
become more common.
• Voice recognition have also achieved an amazing
accuracy, making the search on internet very easy.
• Business have become more cashless with more
number of cashless payment methods.
• Cities are also developing into smart city worldwide.

The future of internet is amazing but only if we
use it appropriately and wisely. We should all be
aware of all the shortcomings of the internet as
well.

  • 3. • 1ST computer took the portion of the room and consisted of series of cabinets with reel to reel tapes, flashing buttons and toggle switches. • 1960:- APRANET(Advanced Research Projects Agency Network) was formed. • 1970:- The term internet was first coined. • 1980:- DNS (Domain Name System) was formed. By this time around 25 different countries connected to the network. • 1990:- Dial-up connection was established. HTML(Hyper Text Makeup Language) was developed.   • 4. • Berners-Lee came up with the concept of world wide web. • Broadband:- This really boosted the development of internet, they didn’t require the phone line to connect and used a cable TV line instead. • 2000:- cyber attack on the sites such as yahoo and e-bay . • Cellular data:- with invention of cheaper mobile with network, internet really started to take off. • By the end of 2018 there were about 5.3 billion smartphone subscribers.
