of Chemical and fertilizers EPC & EPCM Projects of Basic and Detail Engineering Design.
Projects Handled:
 800 MTPD Revamping of Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP) & NPK plant.
 150 MTPD Calcium Nitrate (CN) project.
 1 000 MTPD Single Super Phosphate (SSP) Plant.
Job Responsibility:
A. Process Project Department (Since last 2 Years & 3 Months in CFIt):
Present Project: Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP) & 10 various grades of NPK Plant.
Responsibility:
 Preparation & Checking of Block Diagrams, PFDs, Utility Diagrams, Process Descriptions,
Equipment Lists, General Specifications, Environmental & Health Hazard Reports.
 Preparation of Heat & Mass Balances (MB-HB), Modeling & Simulations using SysCAD
Simulation Software of all the 10 grades of NPK.
 Preparation & checking of P&IDs, Pipe Lists, Line Sizing Calculations, Velocity & Flow ability of
each stream lines.
 Pump Sizing, hydraulic calculation of Blowers etc. preparation.
 Preparation of Datasheets of various equipment like Pump, Tank, Heat Exchanger, Rotary
Drum Cooler, Dryer, Granulator, FBC, Cyclone Separator, PSV, Fan and Blower etc.
 Hazop Study.
B. Process Development (R&D) Department (First 2 years in CFIt):
Responsibility:
 Responsible for preparation & checking of Block Diagrams, PFDs, Utility Diagrams, Process
Descriptions, Equipment Lists, Technical Proposals for offering to Clients, Technology Write -
ups, General Specifications, Environmental & Health Hazard Reports, Preliminary Mass & Heat
Balances of up-coming projects & Feasibility Studies.
 Preparation of PPTs on on-going & upcoming World-wide Technologies of MAP, DAP, NPK, SSP,
Urea, Ammonia, Ammonium Nitrates, Calcium Nitrates, Sulphuric Acid, Phosphoric Acid, Nitric
acid, Water Soluble Fertilizers, Customized Fertilizers with Micronutrients etc.
 Answering technical queries from Interested Clients to support Business Development
Department.
 Checking of Stoichiometric Calculations and formulations of different grade NPK Fertilizers,
Specific Consumptions of raw materials, Utilities, fuel and electricity.

2. C. Additional Responsibility:
 Responsible for performing Quarterly Internal Audits as a DNV Certified ISO Internal Auditor
on Quality Management System (QMS) as per ISO 9001:2008 standard.
2. Previous Organization: Himadri Chemicals and Industries Ltd., Singur, W.B.
Company Profile:
Himadri Group of Industries has 7 public limitedcompanies. Currently they are market leader in Coal
tar business & commissioned Carbon black plant. The company has been operating its own power
plant of 12 MW to cater to uninterrupted power demand of Carbon black as well as the Pitch plant.
Total turnover is around Rs. 800 Crores.
Designation: Process Engineer
 2 Years & 9 Months experience (May 2009 to January 2012) in Plant Operation through
PLC control in distillation plant for manufacturing of Coal Tar Pitch & it’s by-products like
Naphthalene, Carbon Black etc.
Job Responsibility:
 Responsible for Plant Operation (a particular unit of Coal Tar Pitch Division) through
Programmable Logic Control system (PLC) for first 6 months.
 Heat Balance for Fired Heaters & Boilers, Mass Balance of each and every production units,
overall utility balance (Water and Steam).
 Breakdown Analysis & Traceability Analysis of finished pitch through Statistical Process
Control (SPC) tools and application methods.
 Management Information System (MIS) services to provide every possible process shop floor,
quality and dispatch related information, calculations and formulations of different grade pitch
production, raw materials consumptions, and fuel and electricity consumptions to higher
management.
 Responsible as DNV Certified ISO Internal Auditor.
Additional Skill:
 SysCAD Simulation Software, SF Pressure Drop, Auto CAD, MS office.
Academic Qualification:
 M.Sc in Environmental Sciences from Vidyasagar University in Distance Course completed in
2013 with 61.50% marks (First Class).
 B. Tech. (Chemical Engineering) from Durgapur Institute of Advanced Technology And
Management, Rajbandh, Durgapur, West Bengal University of Technology in 2009 with 7.82
DGPA.
 12th from National High School for Girls, West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary
Education in 2005 with 68.20% marks.
 10th from Bidya Bharati Girl’s High School, West Bengal Board of Secondary Education in
