JOB PROFILE & RESPONSIBILITIES
 Generating and monitoring production plan day wise & color wise as per current market requirements
 Convert monthly plan to daily rolling plan
 Feeding material to prodn as per plan & ensuring material delivery at respective work locations timely
through conveyors, trolleys & tow trucks. Considering frequent changeovers material handover is a crucial
activity in mass prod.
 Define Min & Max norms of feeding material on stage.
 Maintain 5S & FIFO of feeding material on shop floor.
 Taking care of material accountability on shop floor as per inventory norms by coordinate & ensuring
with concerned function.
 New model development team member – study BOM and validate as per actual working conditions
 Resource Requirement Planning & Budget as per Ramp up (Planning for resources like manpower,
trolleys, infrastructure, material handling equipments etc. Considering all resources preparing budget for
the department).
 Find out the three days shortage items
 Implicating cost reduction projects by introduction of some new ideas of material flow
 Preparation of all type of MIS as per management requirement (Daily, Weekly, Monthly etc.), related
analysis, Preventive/ corrective actions, weekly report, annual report etc.
 Making the monthly OPCOM report
 Manpower management- Handling a team (Supervisors & contractual manpower) & ensuring the
manpower availability as to carry the shift operations. Resolving the IR issues of the team, taking care of
subordinate development.
 Monitoring and timely removal of scrap & rejections from the shop floor.
Inventory Management:-
 Evaluating the monthly stock variation of A,B,C & S Class parts against system stk. & reconciling the
same.
 Making the yearly inventory calendar & maintained the inventory variance record sheet.
 Responsible for (perpetual & half yearly) inventory as per inventory calendar.
 Reconciliation (Half yearly & perpetual)
 BOM correction & validation of running & upcoming model in SAP & PLM.
 Working in PP module.
