Due to some recent kidnappings, Mr Samir Kumar is worried about his
daughter’s security during the time she is out for school.
He thought about giving his daughter a mobile phone, but later found
out that most schools and even the prestigious collages don’t allow
smartphones on their premises. Now, he is at a loss and worried about
his child’s security….

3. Case Study 2 Technological Hazard
Altaf Chowdhury is a father of a 13 year old son. He is aware of how
dangerous and addicting a smartphone can be for a growing child. So
he decided to not buy him a smartphone.
But later he found his decision to be impractical when he found out his
son is now old enough to hang out with his friends after school and Mr
Altaf has no way of contacting his son during that time. So now he is
looking for a way to contact his son without the addicting features a
smartphone comes with.
