yard, Kostis didn’t have a nice break.
6. He was getting down the stairs and
while he was doing a trick at the stair
handrail, he saw a big gray spider.
7. He was so scared that he jumped like a
spring and left his hand from the
handrail.
8. He slumped down the stairs and fell with
all his weight on his left hand. He felt a
rough pain in his hand and believed that
something bad happened .
9. When his classmates saw him falling
down, they ran to him to see what
happened, in order to help him.
10. They helped him to sit on the step
and saw that his trousers has torn , he
felt so badly.
11. His classmates were anxious and worried.
They didn’t know how to help him, so
Ourania went to inform their teacher who
locked the door of the class.
12. Their teacher helped Kostis to stand up
and took him to the teachers’office. There
the trainer took care of his hand.
13. He felt better but his face was red because of his
tears.The teacher anxious informed Kostis’
parents. They reached immediately to school
and took him to the hospital.
14. After that all of his classmates fell into great
sadness and wondered how it happened to
Kostis. Also they were anxious and afraid about
what the doctors would do to Kostis and some
of them cried.
15. Kostis was very sad not only he would have
to stay at home but he couldn’t play with
the snow, snowfight outdoors, with his
friends.
16. But his best friends: Ourania, Tasos and
Mara were going to Kostis’ house, every
day, after school so he would not feel
alone.
17. They brought into one bowl soft,
fluffy snow which was white as cotton.
18. He painted onto the plaster of:
houses, hearts, stars, a moon and a
sun. They also played board games
with him and told him the news from
school.
19. So the days passed, until one fine day the
snow had melted, and their beloved friend
turned back to school.
