1. Plants are some of the most beautiful and
abundant things on earth. After millions of
years of evolution and development, an
enormous number of different plant
variations have been created. Of all the
plants that have ever lived most are long
since extinct, but still around a third of a
million plant species are estimated to be
surviving today.

2. BALSA WOOD
World’s largest and softest wood. Balsa has pale bark and
like many tropical trees , has no annual growth rings. It
can grow more than per year in full sun, reaching a
maximum height of about 30 meters
3. HEMLOCK
World’s most poisonous plant. The Greek Philosopher Socrates
was killed on consuming this plant. Poison hemlock introduced to
the United States, that may reach a height of 2 meters. Poison
hemlock grows in diverse settings, including wooded areas,
ditches, and waysides throughout the United States.
4. RAFFLESIA
World’ s largest flower. This flower was
discovered in 1822. It can grow to be up to
1 meter in diameter. It is incredibly difficult
to find because it take 9 to 21 months for
plant to develop and the flower lasts for a
maximum of five days.
5. RAFFIA PALM
World’ s largest leaf. They grow up to 16 meter
tall and a remarkable for their compound
pinnate leaves ,and it was considered the
longest in the plant kingdom . Tree with large
leaves that yield a strong fiber.
