● Deployed on AWS in a cluster with load balancing
● Equipped with auto-scaling and disaster recovery
● For persistence data is stored in a relational format in an Oracle or PostgreSql server

● Notifications are sent via Google’s Firebased Cloud Messaging
● App authentication is done via OAuth which takes care of the session management
as well
● The app implements a refresh service to check for new notifications from the server
