Andrea Tassera worked at gia between 1st December 2014 and 10th June 2016, he started as a design analyst and within
one year was promoted to a senior design analyst position.
The role consisted in undertaking daylight and sunlight related climatic analyses based upon 3d computer models of the
built environment. His responsibilities included report writing and liaising with clients directly.
Andrea has good written and verbal communication skills, is very organised, friendly and professional. He is a skilled 3d
modeller and has advanced knowledge of parametric design tools, which he offered to teach the remainder of the team of
his own accord setting up weekly lectures and practical exercises; a fitting example of his proactive and engaging working
attitude. He demonstrated a natural endowment for problem solving and successfully helped with the team’s R&D as well.
I would highly recommend Andrea for he is a true team player as well as a creative individual who is able to share projects
as much as he is comfortable being in charge of one. He is greatly missed in the office and especially by his fellow team
members and I am sure he would be an asset to any practice as he was during his tenure with our office.
