3. I am Andi Montes. I worked in the Tejano/Latin Gene. I never heard
Tejano music before nor knew none of the artists (above) who are
Tejano’s fans favorites. It all started when I took a job at a local latin
nightclub called “Hallabaloos”,after I graduated from High School in
1993. This gene of latin industry is nothing I had experiences. These
Tejano artists took me under their wing and mentor me on their Tejano
music journey, while making history ,learning the their audience
interests. And how this gene later faded out over the years, but now
trying to make a come back due to social media. These experience
intrigued me to chase my visions to become a production manager.

Here is my top portion of my current resume defining
the skills sets I have and my professional summary. I am
always practicing safety in the work place and have
been on the safety teams, I have a strong customer
services and communication skills. Most importantly, I
have “On-Hand” experiences in the audio visual rental
and staging equipment set up.

5. Profession
I am a stagehand, who’s getting “On-Hand “experiences working with stage
production managers, Live Nation,AEG,Talents and understanding how audio,
lighting, video, FOH, backline, dressing rooms, carps department function in
a“Live” event environment. Never stop exploring your dreams, look at the world in a
different view,We are all creators in our own way. If you can’t find it, create it.
I help Artist build their vision “LIVE” on stage for their audience to connect with
them.

6. Credentials
I have 2 years out of the 5 years “on Hand”
experience working the technical side. I have
knowledge of audio visual equipment and I have on
“LIVE” events experiences. I have a 15 years
experiecne in planning, scheduling and event day
execution leadership skills.

7. Promise
I promise my future employer I will always stay creative, focus on the artists and
making sure the audience are feeling connected to their band. And that the
product come first. I am the person they come running to with a situation with
clients or the impossible is having what do we do. I stay calm, listen and then
follow through with quick thinking while also collaborating with other
management to control the situation by delegating tasks to others. The reason I
know these impossible tasks exist in the industry is because I had encounter
many out of the blue. It keeps you on your toes and when the problem arise you
know how to tackle them.

8. Positioning
The reasons why an employer would hire me over my competition is I have
a niche with people when it comes to communication and the life
experiences I have encounter than others. I get what I need to accomplished
in a project and have the whole team contributing in the process. I Want my
audience to see my brand archetype come thru as a creator and hero
because you will see it in my workflow. I am very rare old spirits soul whose
energy is of a child. For example, a fellow Full Sail classmate whose in the
Music business program, Tyler Rhodes. Tyler and I have several years in
the event security however, I have worked as a stagehand for 2 years for a
couple of companies. Tyler wants to be a stage production manager
however, he has never work with a crew in the audio, lighting, video, FOH
or backline departments. I have worked in these positions and have an
upper hand in production management than Tyler plus experiences.

9. Audience
These are the following employers that need to know who I am. If I
had Live Nation as my only choice. I know, how to get them to notice
me and that is by collaborating with their employees at venues when
they need assisted in the dressing rooms or a task that involved a
local stage hand. These major companies holds the key to my dream
job.

10. Networking & Marketing
The way to attract employers is to have a well thought ut portfolio of your work
and a well experience resume to go along with it. As I start to create an on-line
content, I will gain experience and more creditability among my audience.
Once I create an online presence for my audience by blogging and hosting a
Podcast show, In which, my audience and I will have a stronger bond. The
content will arrange from pop culture facts and fiction to advise you wish you
could have gotten.
The Industry events I am attending with in the this year are the following ;
working Elton John’s Farewell tour which was cancel due to his illness on Monday
March 18, 2019, Hangout Festival, where I will be working stagehand for a couple
of days, SouthWest South West in October to network and attend sessions.
Finally, saving money up for The American Pavilion Internship for the Cannes
Film Festival in Nice, France in May 2020. I am looking forward to this internship
because I am networking and working with major networks talent agency,
productions companies , entertainment companies all around the world in one
spot where it’s per invitation only.

11. Competitors
We all have competition and what is better than a
healthy competitive way to excel your goals!
My friend Ruth Rudnick graduated from University of
Central Florida with a B.S in Event Management in
2013. Ruth is now a production coordinator for LEO
Events . I am more experience than Ruth , however,
she got her degree which open tons of doors for
her.We had in the past worked with one another as a
team supervisors , when Ruth was my manager and
vice versa. I am hoping one day, we can team up again.
We made an amazing power team.
Another Competitor, I was introduced by Carina
Billings, A full sail admission advisor , Carina network
work Chelsea and I while we were working at
Bonnaroo Festival in Memphis , TN . Chelsea graduated
from Full Sail in 2014 in Show Production & Touring.
Since Chelsea graduated from Full Sail, she has been
traveling around the country working now as a
production assistant for the rigging team. Chelsea is
one awesome competitor who I wouldn’t mind being
mentor. She know the work flow and how to work in
crazy environments where the weather changes or
when venue losses power.

12. Professional Development
I need at least 8 years of solid projection
manager or production manager in running
shows and I have 2 years of audio visual
event tech industry experience, so far. I do
need a few years in experiencing budgets
ranging from 20k to 500k +. I need to start
reaching out or volunteering on oversea
shows in order to understand the
knowledge of local foreign. I need a better
understanding of the foundation of what the
employer is seeking therefore, When I gasp
what they are needed I am one ahead of my
competition. I need to continue working as
a local stagehand , get more involved in the
Student Event Crew, and volunteer my time
to understand all I need to know in show
production. I have several mentors I can
reach out for help or advises on how about I
can get involved in a Production Assistant. I
believe , I would need 3 to 5 years to get
this show production manager position.

13. Goals
I will continue to grow my brand awareness by creating a logo that
representative me, by networking in any of my surroundings, and by
blogging on-line my own journey as a stagehand working with a
variety of people in different venues and shows. I will continue to
grow by collaborating with my peers and expand my knowledge by
sharing with others. By doing this, Will increase my traffic flow on my
social media by 19% and I must complete 7 projects as well by
December 18, 2020 to present my work to my future employers.
