post qualification experience in Costing & Planning, Accounts MIS and working knowledge of taxation

 Presently working with Havells India Limited as Commercial & Cost Manager in Plant Operation.

environment (CO Module).

 Accountabilities-Commercial & Cost Manager-Plant:
 Monthly MIS reporting to Management with Key change point analysis w.rt. Profitability up to
contribution level.
 Quarterly Balance Sheet of the plant for limited review purpose including analysis on Capex,
Manufacturing expenses, plant SGA.
 Preparation of Annual Budget and its phasing, monitoring the actual monthly performance and
analyze the variance over budget. Fixing KPI and TEPs for all manufacturing units to help management
review the actual performance against the same in line with corporate strategy.
 Ensuring proper accounting and control w.r.t Inventory Management i.e. raw material, FG.
 Coordination and reporting to Plant Head for day to day operations.

2.  Ensuring legal compliances w.r.t Excise, Service Tax, Sales Tax and HR compliances related to PF and
ESI.
 Coordination with Internal Auditors and taking action on key internal audit observations.
 Accountabilities-Manager-Costing:
 Preparation of Cost Records and reconciliation with finance
 Unit Wise/Product wise profitability analysis along with review of SKUs having negative contribution
 Make or Buy Analysis.
 Analysis of Product and plant Business and Present to Management.
 Analysis of costing trend of SKUs on monthly basis across the plants and analyse Inventory reports.
 Responsible for cost run across the plants
 BOM vs. Actual analysis and reporting of variance
 Single level authority for controlling Bill of Material (BOMs) across the product-line.
 Comparison of standards vs. actual of all the overheads up to contribution level on monthly basis.
Key Achievements:
 Introduced Cost Records as per statutory requirement under SAP environment.
 Controlled unauthorized changes being made to BOMs across the plants and designed format for BOM
Change.
 Streamlined the process costing in order to capture RM cost at different stages to facilitate business
decision making across the plants
 Streamlined the processes in Job Work accounting, SAP processes related to BOMs and consumption
and Inventory Management.
 Implementation of SOPs as per direction of Management in the Plant.
