o Finance functions of SBUs through Business Financial Analysts. Major functions in this area are project
budgeting, revenue forecasting, profitability analysis, revenue recognition as per US-GAAP norms, BU
reporting, etc.
o Final review and finalizing RFPs from the commercial terms perspective.
o Finalization of accounts under IGAAP, in compliance with all statutory requirements.

  • 3.  Proactively involved in: o SAP migration project from 4.7 to 6.0 – both blue printing implementation. o IT-GCC and BCC audit carried out in collaboration with E&Y audit team.  Successfully handled service tax refund & commercial tax litigations and IT audit for a small associated Bangalore based entity.  Honour of being carried out the preparation of SOPs for all finance functions to comply with SOX 404.  Instrumental in doing fraud detection and initiation action against the persons involved and recommendations for tighten the internal systems. Jan’92-Jan’07 Infosys Technologies Ltd., Bangalore Controller – Finance Role:  Handled first public issue in 1993 & subsequent PE issue, RBI, STPI and Commercial Tax issues.  Participated in MIS reporting and automation of finance functions through SAP ERP implementation and built various software around SAP for analysis and reporting.  Supervised the evaluation of financial part of RFPs and devised a tool for effective pricing tool for determining quote the services.  Managed the development of budges at various BU and SBU levels and consolidation of the same, determination of standard cost for budgeting and for the pricing model.  Overseen all audit functions – internal and statutory.
