 More expenditure on agriculture and other

population increases migration and
slows economic development
 Increase in population creates the burden on
land area thus people migrate to other areas.
 It increases the poverty and hunger thus
people migrate.
 It increases unemployment.
 It also increases the crime rate.
 It also Increases the burden on the services of
the area.
 Lack of food supplies.

5. Slow down Economic growth
 Huge population increases the burden on
agriculture and if we did not increased agriculture
this will slow down the development of country.
 It also increases the demand of industrial products
this can be done only on the condition to increase
the raw material production.
 Unemployment further creates hurdles because
huge number of people will be dependant on the
few people this will decrease the income
generation.
 Low number of working age group results in low
generation of taxes for country.

6.  Govt: will increase the taxes on each product.
 Demand of products will be decreased.
 The development of slums, shattered towns
and tent cities.
 This will increase the crime rate that will affect
on the FDI( Foreign direct investment)

7. Analyze the impact of population growth
on education, health and nutrition levels
of the people of Pakistan
 Increase in population increases the burden on
educational infrastructure e.g. Schools, colleges
and universities.
 Lack of more skilled teachers.
 Overcrowding in the schools will be observed and
this could affect the learning process.
 Problem of funds/ financial budget will be faced.
 Unequal quality of education will be experienced
and this will develop reserved attitudes.
 Mismanagement and lack of accountability will
worsen the situation.

8. Impacts on Health
 It will create the burden on heath services
because of fewer doctors and hospitals.
 Shortage of medicines.
 Easy spread of diseases.
 Water supply contamination.

9. Impacts on nutrition level
 Growing population will create the over burden
on agriculture. More land will be required thus
deforestation will be done.
 It will create the shortage of food and people
will face starvation
 The provision of balance diet will impossible.
 Due to poor diet the number of diseases will
increase due to lower immune system.
 Provision of unhygienic food will be common.
