What are your favorite aspects of working at AJE
that you’d like our customers to know about?

Working at AJE has allowed me to read some fascinating research
being done by our customers. I truly consider it a privilege and an
honor to play a role in helping our authors disseminate the
knowledge that they have acquired.
Please describe how you hope that the work you’ve
done at AJE has impacted the world.
When I was in graduate school, I was approached by a fellow
student who could only find one prior study on the topic she
was researching for her PhD, and that paper was in
Portuguese. Mutual friends told her I spoke Portuguese, so
she came to ask me for help in translating the paper. If there
had not been someone who spoke Portuguese around, she
might not have been able to use that source. So, I hope the
work we do at AJE breaks down language barriers that help to
strengthen science; that it helps our customers to disseminate
the knowledge that they have acquired; that it helps
researchers across the globe to form connections with other
researchers conducting similar research, to collaborate and
share ideas, to access important data, and to strengthen the
quality of their arguments.

Physics, Organic Semiconductors (OLEDs and OPVs)

I hope AJE can help all the non-English speaking researchers
publish their research results in professional English journals.
I enjoy learning new things and the friendly work
environment.

How has working at AJE impacted you?

It gives me a broader idea of what has been done in different
areas of study. By reading so many great articles, I have learned
new things and broadened my view on various areas.
What are your favorite aspects of working at AJE
that you’d like our customers to know about?
What I enjoy about working at AJE is that I can help our
customers in the process of publishing their research. This
gives me the sense of being part of something bigger. In
addition, the schedule is really flexible and allows me to work
from home and be closer to my children.

me so well and which has a special place in my heart.

I'm proud of the work I've done as part of the Translation
Team because I feel like I've been a small part of giving
Portuguese-speaking researchers a way to communicate
their work to a much broader audience.
What are your favorite aspects of working at AJE
that you’d like our customers to know about?
Everyone at AJE really does their best work to help
researchers succeed - and we're really happy
when they do!
I've been exposed to really cool research I would
otherwise not have know about and it has made me
aware of so many important things, particularly in the
Medical Sciences.

I have the chance to read papers in many different fields
which can help to expand my knowledge.

I hope I can use my professional knowledge to help scientists
in China publish papers in English journals.
Spain. My sons love playing soccer and they are big fans
of Messi.

I have learned many customer service concepts and
skills at AJE and can often think from the perspective of
the customers.

We have helped many customers publish their excellent work.
Advancement of the sciences and technologies through
publications will surely positively change the world.
The next country I’d like to visit is Egypt. I am excited to see
the Egyptian pyramids built thousands of years ago.
