done at AJE has impacted the world.
I hope that I have helped researchers who are not
native English speakers get help with communicating
their research.
Each employee is devoted to their job and provides
suggestions to help AJE continue to improve.

Please describe how you hope that the work you’ve
done at AJE has impacted the world.
There are many researchers or scholars who don't speak
English and who want to share their research with the world.
English is the primary language for journals. Their research
needs to be known. My colleagues and I are helping make
the language not an issue, I am proud that because of our
work many research results are being published and will be
shared with more people around the world. No matter what
area of study, research results will effect our future in
different ways and will benefit us for a long time.
I would like to visit China to visit my parents and grandparents.
What is the next country you’d like to visit and why?

What are your favorite aspects of working at AJE
that you’d like our customers to know about?

Great culture. Nice and talented peers. Lots of opportunity
to make an impact both within the company and with
customers around the world.
What is the next country you’d like to visit and why?
I would like to visit the Netherlands because there are bicycles
everywhere, dutch tulips, villages, and the Anne Frank house,
of course.
We help customers improve their manuscripts to increase
their chances of publishing. This is wonderful.

Please describe how you hope that the work you’ve
done at AJE has impacted the world.
When receiving a request for assistance, I feel - somehow -
that I'm part of the final result that a researcher will show to
the world. To know that a customer put his/her trust in that
first contact, it makes me feel that my participation - even
small - makes a difference.
What are your favorite aspects of working at AJE
that you’d like our customers to know about?
AJE's culture is something I respect and admire - we are
there for each other. The fact that we are so focused on
achieving high quality results for customers makes me want
to give my best when interacting with a customer. I also
love to be able to communicate in a customer's own
language to facilitate the whole process for them.

Do you have a special area of expertise, such as the
area of your dissertation, thesis, or past research?
NORA
BA, History
1 Year at AJE
While I researched voting rights in the United States for
minority groups for my senior thesis, the majority of my
coursework focused on East Asian history and culture.
What are your favorite aspects of working at AJE
that you’d like our customers to know about?
I love communicating with our customers from every
corner of the world.
This summer I'm visiting Japan for the second time and I
hope to explore Scandinavia next year!

Please describe how you hope that the work you’ve
done at AJE has impacted the world.
I love being able to find solutions that may be challenging for us,
but make it easier for the customer. Also, since everyone has
very different backgrounds, my coworkers all have interesting
stories to share. They have lived all over the world, are of
different generations and have studied many different things.
I recently had to navigate ordering a poster in Japanese from
a Japanese country while being in the US. I appreciate our
customers patience communicating with us in a different time
zone, and often in English with specialized terms. I hope I can
make this process easier for you, as the Japanese customer
service representatives were patient with me.

that you’d like our customers to know about?

My special area of expertise is communicating with
customers and helping tackle their problems.
What are your favorite aspects of working at AJE
that you’d like our customers to know about?
AJE by far is the best employer that I have ever worked for. I
am impressed by how kind our co-workers are and how much
we care about our customers.
I hope Chinese researchers can have their work shared
internationally faster without worrying about language barrier.

What are your favorite aspects of working at AJE
that you’d like our customers to know about?
We put the customer's needs first. We are dedicated to
helping our customers succeed.
Please describe how you hope that the work you’ve
done at AJE has impacted the world.
AJE has helped our customers to publish better quality papers
and consequently enhance scientific communication and
stimulate new scientific discoveries.
I would like to visit Galapagos, Ecuador to learn about the
endemic plant and animal species that contributed to the
discovery of the theory of evolution by Charles Darwin.
What is the next country you’d like to visit and why?
