2006-2008 Young Women’s Project: Teen Women in Action
• Researched health topics and presented to other group participants. Topics researched
included healthy relationships, identifying an abusive partner, effective communication,
problem solving and early detection of potential partner violence or domestic violence.
• Administered a survey to adolescents to find out trends and habits when in relationships.
• Acquired leadership skills by presenting information to groups of students and facilitators
and by leading some group sessions.
