Selected, prepared, studied, and planned the music for weekly services, including hymn choice
and anthems; taught the selected music during one and a half hour weekly rehearsals; regularly
led/conducted 75-100 parishioners in hymn singing, two services per Sunday. Directed/presented

MUSICAL THEATER COACH:Fredericksburg Theater Company, Fredericksburg, TX, Summer 2011-
current:
Lead the musical theater branch of the Freddyburg Youth Theater summer camp. The one-week
camp for elementary, middle, and high school students includes intense, daily classes of stage
make-up, stage combat, technical theater, acting classes and musical theater. Music classes
2. focus on warm-ups, vocal technique, choreography and memorization of selected, age
appropriate musical theater pieces. The camp concludes with a one-hour showcase of the
student’s progress in all areas.
PERFORMANCE CREDITS:
McMurry University Senior Undergraduate Recital: solo performance with piano and
trumpet accompanists of one hour of music consisting of French, Italian, German, and
English pieces from Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary music periods.
Auditioned and cast as the role of "Adele" in the Abilene Tri-Collegiate production of
Die Fledermaus. Performed (with full orchestra, sung in English) twice in the historic
Paramount theatre in downtown Abilene, April 2006.
Auditioned and cast as the role of "Pamina" in the Abilene Tri-Collegiate production of
Die Zauberflöte. Performed (with full orchestra, sung in English) twice in the historic
Paramount Theatre in downtown Abilene, April 2008.
Auditioned and cast as the role of "Jo" in the McMurry University Summer Musical
production of the Broadway musical Little Women. Performed (with performance tracks,
sung in English) nine shows at McMurry’s campus theatre; summer 2008.
Served as the Musical Director for The McMurry Homecoming Musical production of
The Music Man; conducted 6 weeks of intense music rehearsals and operated the track
player for accompaniment during 6 performances. September-October 2009
Reprised the role of Jo in Little Women with the Fredericksburg Theater Company;
Fredericksburg, TX. Also served as the musical director of the show; duties included
casting the show, conducting intense musical rehearsals, personal preparation and
performances. Nine shows, February-March 2011.
Served as the Musical Director for Honk! The Musical with the Fredericksburg Theater
Company; Fredericksburg, TX. Duties included casting the show, leading intense music
rehearsals and conducting a live orchestra for 9 performances, June 2012.
Auditioned and cast as “Despina” in the Hardin-Simmons University’s production of
Così fan tutte. Performed two shows (in English, with full university orchestra) at the
Hardin-Simmons campus theater, Spring 2013.
Performed two Hardin-Simmons University’s School of Music Master Classes with Dr.
Joyce Farwell, Fall 2012 and Fall 2013.
Performed at the Hardin-Simmons University Honors Recital and recognized with
“Excellence in Performance” award.

EXTRACURRICULAR/PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPS:
"SPIRIT WIND" NW Texas UMC Conference Youth Choir, Midland, TX Summers 1996-Present
Counselor: (14 years) Provided leadership, discipline, moral support,and spiritual guidance to Spirit Wind teens
(group numbers between 50-200 participants). Duties included conducting sectionalrehearsals/solo and small group
vocal coaching, preparing concert locations, maintaining group supplies while on the road, and doing daily
devotionals. Also traveled to New Zealand and Boston/ New York/Washington D.C. with the group.
Singer: (5 years) Successfully participated five years in the three day, intensive, non-stop rehearsals to learn,
memorize, and perfect a varied portfolio of twelve to fifteen pieces that were then performed on the jam-packed, two
week tour that followed.
Assistant Choral Director: (3 years) Shared responsibility in leading intense rehearsals to prepare for the concert
tour that followed the 3-day rehearsal period. Conducted during concerts and other special events.
