EXPERIENCE
ASSOCIATE SCIENTIST Biopharmaceutical Downstream Process Development June 2014-present
GlaxoSmithKline, Upper Merion PA
Description: Involved in all aspects of downstream purification processes for biopharmaceutical therapeutic proteins, including
monoclonal, domain, and recombinant antibodies. Responsibilities include initial process screening, step optimization and
characterization, scale-up and tech transfer to both clinical and commercial manufacturing facilities. Utilized techniques such
as Design of Experiments (DOE), High Through Put (HTP) and innovative experimental design for process development.
Extensive experience with affinity and ion-exchange chromatography, depth ultra and diafiltration, and Quality by Design
(QbD) and Control Strategy.
INDEPENDENT RESEARCH Lehigh University Bioengineering Department 2012-2014
Project Title: Defining the Mechanism of Neuropilin 2A Cell Signaling
Description: Employed as research intern through the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Bio Dynamics Summer Institute.
Following internship, was invited to continue research through Lehigh Universities Independent Research I, II, and III
courses. Worked with interdisciplinary team of graduate students to define the mechanism of transmembrane protein
Neruopilin 2A signal transduction. Responsible for training and supervising other undergraduate students in the lab.
