2. Sounds
Are tones that your ears can hear. You hear the
chirping of the birds, the honking of cars on the street,
and the laughter of children in the school.
3. What is the opposite of sounds?
When there is no sound heard, there is silence. Silence is
important in many places. In the classroom, pupils are expected to
keep quiet when reading or taking notes.
In the church, people are silent when praying or listening to
sermons. In music, silence is important as much as sound. Silence
in music is also called rest.
