The student was also grateful for the opportunity to attend a fashion show at the Shangri-la hotel, where they observed both manufacturer clothing and creative student designs incorporating local Taiwanese culture, though not necessarily practical for everyday wear. The events helped the student better understand fashion and its influences beyond just clothing.

In beginning, I am not quite understanding “fashion.”
Otherwise, I am so happy that I can attend the “dear” exhibition and
fashion show. Because of this, I have some knowledge about fashion.
I remembered my impression of “dear” exhibition was beautiful and
exhibits were distinctive. But I never knew the meaning about these
exhibits before the commentator introduced them. For example, these

2. exhibits’ construction, how famous manufactures were and how to make
exhibits and so on. Then, in order to protect our planet, some
manufactures’ construction of exhibits was about recycle materials. I
thought this was a good way. And my favorite exhibits was clothes. I
liked this clothes not only its style, but also its construction. The
commentator said it was made by recycle oyster shell and PT plastic
bottles. So, this “dear” exhibition was very meaningful. These exhibits
did not just look well, they were also made by complex methods. And
some exhibits were even made by recycle materials. “Dear” exhibition
was really creative!
Thanks for teacher! Because of you, we can have a chance to attend
the fashion show. I was so surprised when I got in the Shangri-la hotel.
The participants of fashion show all dressed formally. And there were
many snacks and juice that guests can eat and drink. However, this show
had not only the competitors’ design of clothes, but also the
manufactures’ clothes. I thought these competitors’ design were
amazing. Their design could combine the local culture, including lotus
flower, Anping Sword Lions and red tortoise cake and so on. These were
really creative, but it was not suitable for wearing out.
Simply put, I am happy I can attend these activities. Through these
activities, I clearly understand what the fashion is. Fashion is not just
about clothing, it also includes our life. In this course, I really learn a lot
about fashion.
