The student attended the 2017 Taiwan Design Exhibition in Tainan and was impressed by the creative designs and use of recycled materials. The exhibition featured exhibits that were beautifully constructed but also served to protect the environment. One of the student's favorite designs was a set of clothes made from recycled oyster shells and plastic bottles. The student was also grateful for the opportunity to attend a fashion show at the Shangri-la hotel, where they observed both manufacturer clothing and creative student designs incorporating local Taiwanese culture, though not necessarily practical for everyday wear. The events helped the student better understand fashion and its influences beyond just clothing.
