This document lists and briefly describes various activity aids that can be used for teaching, including experimentation, field trips, demonstrations, dramatics, programmed instructions, teaching machines, computer-assisted instructions, exhibitions, dramatizations, science kits, nature calendars, computer CDs, interactive CD-ROMs, PowerPoint presentations, museums, planetariums, aquariums, terrariums, vivaria, farmers conferences, farmers meetings, TV talks, and seminars. Some of the aids, such as teaching machines, computer-assisted instructions, interactive CD-ROMs, and terrariums, include short definitions or descriptions.

• Computer Assisted Instruction
• Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) is defined as the
use of computers and software applications to teach
concepts or skills. IBM developed one of the first
instructional computer systems in the 1960s
using minicomputers . From the 1960s to the 1980s,
IBM produced a handful of these 1500 series
computers for the military and several universities.
These units, contained in special trailers, consisted of
complete workstations: one large central processing
unit (CPU) , one instructor's station, and sixteen
student terminals. The trailer was hauled from place to
place as needed

• 1-the first is of the terrarium on its shelf, where
you can see the light, as well of the layers created
inside of the vivarium for drainage (lil frog in
water)

• So the first vivarium is my 1 1/2 yr old vivarium that i recently
all cleaned out and re-did with better drainage and
arrangement lately to freshen it (yearly). Tthere are many live
plants (3-4) and two big eyed tree frogs, one female and one
male.
