1. ARCHITECTURAL CONCEPT
The project has adopted the ECOTECTURE design principle. The concept incorporates natural materials, natural light, vegetation,
nature views and other experiences of the natural world into the modern built environment (Moss and Scheer, 2015). Thus, the resultant
architecture appeared like stylized nature elements of MANGROVE tree forms . THIS NOT ONLY FOLLOW THE FORM THE TREE BUT ALSO
INCORPORATE THE CHARACTERISTIC OF THE MANGROVE TREE.

THE ROUND SHAPE AND MASSIVE PROPORTION OF
THE ROOFING IN THE STRUCTURE IS BASED ON THE
LEAVES OF MANGROVE TREE. THRU THATCHING LOCAL
MATERIALS LIKE COGON GRASS IS USED.

MIMICKING THE HARMONY OF THE BRANCHES OF TREES.
THIS IS APPLIED THRU THE COLUMN OF THE STRUCTURE.
ROOTS OF THE MANGROVE TREE
CONSIDERED THE AREA IS A FLOOD PRONE AREA.
