 Closely monitors Scaffold erection / dismantling work, permit-required confined space entries,
Crane work / lifting operations/Hot work, equipment energization and similar hazardous activities
and. ensures that all relevant requirements are complied with.
 Checks and ensures compliance of site work-force with the approved Safe Work Permit System /
Procedure in the shipyards in accordance with regulation imposed.
 Participates at Corporate / Project-developed Safety Training / Incentive and Awareness.
 Programs; attends safety meetings with the client / other builders.
 Lock out / Tag out & POV training.

 Monitor and ensure all site activities are being complied with applicable Standards and Project
specifications. Coordinate with site supervisor and foremen to address and resolve all issues arise
in the system by prompt intervention.
 Conduct safety inspection and training programs
 Conduct safety awareness and motivation programs in the site area.  Conduct periodical risk
assessment and analysis of the hazardous activities.
 Attending to clear out points from Internal and External Audits.
 Checks the availability of proper PPE and Utilization in the site.
 Ensuring the PPE by monitoring and for volitions special counseling and warning notices.
