• The genre is indie pop
• This is a very common genre for smaller artists as it is become popular in
mainstream music as well as it being an easier genre to right in when you are a
smaller artist with limited equipment.
5. The idea (Synopsis)
• Set in a classroom, main singer dressed in dark colours and is in the middle. The
song is about him not liking or enjoying high school and I think he needs to stand
out in a negative way
• Montages of high school being happy but with hidden messages of negativity
within the set
• The ‘perfect’ set and high school starts to break down during the music video
until the end it becomes absolutely chaos with papers flying everywhere
• Dancers throughout the whole piece
• Intertextual references of classic high school films
