2. ABOUT ME
• My name is Alexander Mckissick and my major is Theatre Arts.
3. WHAT MOTIVATES ME
• What motivates me to get into politics is that as people and as a country we can do much better than
we already are that shows when people really do care.
• I would want to change our healthcare system and make election day a holiday so that everyone has a
equal chance to vote and get rid of voter suppression its very very important that everyone can vote.
4. WHAT I HAVE LEARNED
• Going into this I thought I had a good grasp on the government itself, this course showed me I was
wrong I can look at all sides of government much better. House, senate and the court system I was all
surprised because they all had something I did not know such as the people's support and how that
matters now more than ever.
5. WHAT I BELIEVE IS IMPORTANT
• I believe that our healthcare is a problem, people not getting healthcare because they can't afford it or
can't get insurance is a problem. Medical debt is a problem including not being able to afford
medication. Millions of people have this problem and I believe we need to fix this as this applies to all
ages.
6. WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT AMENDMENT
• The most important I will always believe is amendment number 1. The power of the voice allows us to
demand change to come, the voice allows us to change the world for the best of it. We could have no
other amendments if we never had the first.
7. WHAT I WILL REMEMBER
• What I will take away from this class is the government process, the house, senate and the courts were
things I did not understand well. Now knowing this information, this will influence my decisions and
make more complex decisions about politics. I think this will be important to my future.
• To the professor, thank you for teaching me I think that this will help me in the near future, Thank you.
