This opportunity has got me really excited because not only does itfit with my background,skill set,and career
shift/ personal development goals,it will essentially bea new business venture for me and I would treat with the
same careand attention as my own. I am trustworthy, creative, tenacious,and friendly and would play an integral
part in the success of CTECH’s future growth.
I want to identify some of the steps we can take in the development of your sales department. This is a moderately
complicated task,but I find the littletasks simpleto carry out so longas a game plan or master checklistis
developed.

I have a clear pictureof where I’d liketo see your business in 5 years and what it will take to get there. I’ve started
my research to expedite marketing plan development. Through my SWOT analysis of your industry,I will uncover

Through my findings I plan to assess gaps of opportunity in what is beingoffered to the market. Next I’ll research

We need to populate your blogwith useful relevant info that secures us expert status.If we want to attractclients
we have to startwith analysisof what keywords are getting searched more frequently usingGoogle Adwords.
We’ll then populate a largelistof tweets, blog entries, video posts,and complimentary content to our existingand
potential clients.
The more inbound links the better. We need to get your business listed in as many onlinedirectories as possible.
Partner and affiliatelinks sites will also boostyour google rank.More inbound marketing will come from the
integration of a bloginto your website
The methods of promoting your business arebountiful,and I won’t waste either of our time writing any more
about them here. I am intent on getting us into trade shows, trade magazines, forums, podcasting,and webinars to
name a few. More research will be done on the most effective ways of marketing for your industry specifically,but
they will all becosteffective solutions to generate great leads.
2. Big name gurus market their expert info and help businesses.I havea whole book that supports this for you. They
document their knowledge into an educational tool to teach others. The fundamental principles are usually given
away as a complimentary hour long webinar which people must sign up for but get an indefinitedownload link to
review the presentation. The key is to give away info to people from the listyou’re trying to grow that will help
them savecosts,increaseproductivity,and increaserevenue. This way you put CTECH on a client’s sideas
partners,thereby minimizing the supplier mentality.
Next we will setup the sales trainingliterature,videos,exercises,and other info marketing materials. Wecan then
formulate the job descriptions for our representatives, sales managers and account executives. All training
materials will come in audio format as well and can be listened to in real time from a podcast.
We can do preliminary,lead generating, sales presentations with Go-to-Meeting. This programallows us to filter
the prospects out before any resources arewasted in travelingto meet with them. There is another free
technology that I’m sureyou’re familiar with which allows you to give presentations on someone’s computer –
VNC.
I’d liketo see an informative11 page brochure that we mail out to leads from the website or blog,that are
interested in our services. I have an example from a company called Snap surveys complete with product leaflets
as per their onlinerequest for customized solutions, and demo CD that could be filled with a collection of videos,
our webinars and detailed features, advantages, and benefits of our product line.
Aside from the blog integration I want to see video incorporated into the main page – referred to as a landing
video. The most memorable landingvideo I’ve seen is on www.servicemagic.com – a company who could also send
