They have a long history beginning in the late 1970s and have expanded their capabilities over the years. 2. HAWMAN HISTORY
Hawman Container Services was founded in the late 70’s as a service and refurbishing facility of
barils and intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) based out of Barrie ON.
Over the years the company has experienced tremendous growth by developing its own line of
standard products. Our off the shelf, UN approved, IBC containers product line represents our
standard offering, having our own Polyethylene Rotomolding division capable of building 40 IBC’s
per day from raw materials to a completely finished product.
Being 100% Canadian family owned and operated the company has continued to expand its
fabrication capabilities with significant expansions in equipment and facilities therefore creating the
HCS Group Manufacturing business unit.
Our exposure to a variety of industries over the past 30 years has allowed us to expand into
custom fabricated process equipment supply such as API 650 & 12F tanks, CWB structural frames
& platforms as well as ASME registered pressure piping and turnkey fluid handling systems.

Metallic heavy duty construction, UN31A transportable IBC, used in mining, O&G, petrochemical industries for
over the road transport & storage of lubricants, diesel / fuel oil, chemicals & class III flammable liquids.

6. CR & SR SERIES TOTES
Metallic cylindrical, heavy duty construction, used in O&G, petrochemical
industries, water treatment chemicals. UN31A approved for road or rail
transport in 45.5” series only, up to 1600 liter capacity.
Available in 45.5” OD & 60” OD standard diameters (other footprints
available for special order) and fill cap openings up to 22.5 inches with
capacities to 3200 litres. Valve sizes range from 1 inch to 4 inches in a
multitude of materials and configurations.

8. EMULSION TOTES
Manufactured from all 304 SS or CS and robustly designed for demands of the mining industry. Incorporating a 25
degree hopper bottom to 3” butterfly valve (available in 4”) allows for the easy discharge of emulsified products
with higher viscosity.
Larger 48” x 60” &, 60” x 72” footprints allows for a lower for the IBC’s to fit under low mine shaft ceilings typical

rounded corners allowing for easy cleaning c/w tri clamp valve drain connection. The tank comes standard in
304SS 2B finish while 316SS and with additional food grad or finishes are also available.
