PROFILE
Alan has 35 years of electrical maintenance experience as an Electrical Planner/Supervisor for Algoma
Steel in Sault Ste. Marie, where he developed work plans, instructions to tradesmen, oversaw and
monitored the work site for adherence to safety protocols and procedures, analyzed work completion,
handle material movement and transfer and scheduled downtime and managed corrective action to affect
repairs and solutions to equipment and systems failures. Currently, Alan has been employed by Urbacon
Power Management to coordinate and supervise maintenance subcontractors for OLG’s Foster Data
Centre as well as monitoring and evaluating the status of equipment and maintenance on surrounding
equipment and systems within the building that have direct impact on OLG’s data centre operations.
