1. MARBLE
It is a metamorphic rock composed of
recrystallized carbonate minerals most
commonly calcite.
Uses - Flooring, Decorative purpose.
Cost - Rs.300/square feet.
Availability – Rajasthan.

4. 2. GRANITE
It is intrusive igneous rock that is available
in different texture.
Uses - Flooring, wall claddings etc.,
Cost - Minimum - Rs.60/square feet.
Maximum - Rs.2000/square feet.
Availability – Tamil Nadu, Karnataka,
Rajasthan.

5. 3. SANDSTONE
These are sedimentary rock composed of mineral
and organic material.
Uses - Flooring, Wall claddings, Decorative
purposes.
Cost - Rs.170/square feet.
Availability – Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan,
Karnataka.

6. 4. LIMESTONE
These are sedimentary rock composed
primarily of calcium carbonate.
Uses - Flooring, wall claddings.
Cost - Rs.42/square feet.
Availability – Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu.

7. 5. BASALT
These are Igneous rock formed from molten
lava.
Uses - Aggregate in Construction works,
Flooring, wall Claddings.
Price - Rs.165/square feet.
Availability – Mainly found in Deccan Plateau
of west central India.

8. 6. SLATE
It is metamorphic rock obtained from clay or
volcanic ash.
Uses - Flooring, Roofing, wall claddings and
decorative purpose.
Cost - Around Rs.40/Sqft to 120/Sqft.
Availability – Karnataka, Jaipur, Rajasthan.
