One of the few complete international schools in the heart of Chennai city, the campus is
housed in an independent multi-storied building, with easy access to all resources that are an
integral part of our learning methodology. Our air-conditioned classrooms are well-planned
out to encourage the inquiry-based approach to learning. A modern composite lab to conduct
experiments in Physics, Chemistry and Biology has been fitted out.
The Akshar Arbol International School strength lies in the highly qualified staff that
form a part of the AAIS team assuring top quality delivery of academics. To ensure that we
provide students with the opportunity to excel in sports, in line with the requirements of
both IB*and CIE, sports ground facilities, close to school have been identified for students of
middle school, where they will be taken for pursuing their choice of sport.

5. International Baccalaureate (IB) - Primary Year Programme
Children at Akshar Arbol International School learn in an environment that nurtures
their natural curiosity and helps them to inquire and explore. Their learning of a concept is
trans-disciplinary, enriched by music, arts and Physical Education. The divergence of skills and
knowledge which happens in conventional schooling is bridged in the IB Primary Year Program
which makes learning fun.
Children in the PYP learn based on the philosophy of "Vishwam Gurur - mama" (The
whole world is my Guru), helping them to emerge as leaders displaying the IB Learner Profile
attributes.

6. Life at Akshar Árbol International School
Various informal get-togethers and special events are organized through the year by
the school to help parents get a sense of belonging and get involved with the school.
Open Houses at AAIS are get-togethers of two sources of information givers: the parent
and the teacher to discuss the student progress.
Parent awareness and interactive forums in schools across the city are held regularly to
enhance community awareness on international schooling.
