3. BIE-Goa Chapter
Opened in the year 2011 .
Ground Work.
The Officials of the Board of Islamic Education (BIE)
had series of discussions with the Academicians,
Psychologist and Psychiatrics in order to understand
the changing behaviour of our children such as
misbehaviour with elders' aimlessness brutality etc.
during this last decade. The outcome of this study
was alarming and they have come to the conclusion
that if remedial steps were not taken now, then the
situation will go out of control. As a follow up BIE
invited a few individuals with teaching background
and having eagerness to serve the community.

11. Started CC-JAC Classes All Over Goa.

!) Designed Syllabus for CC- & JAC-classes :
The idea of having children circle at different
places was thought and a door-to-door campaign
was launched to educate the parents and a
booklet was printed with the complete syllabus
for a period of 1 year.
!) Children's Circle: CC & JAC classes started at 8
different places in Goa with almost 32 teachers
giving their time on Sunday for 2 hours and
having Alhamdulillah 300 students enrolled in it
21. Children Book Library.
An Idea suggested to the parents that the children
should have their own libraries and BIE would help
them by giving them effective books and CDs to
start with. A survey was conducted for the children
book collection and books which appeal to
Children with lot of colours and pictures were
selected from different publications. Book
exhibitions were held at different places in Goa.

Book store opened at St’ Inez Panjim.

!) Programme held at Mapusa Islamic Centre in the
month of October 2011.
Children along with their parents were invited to
make aware of their responsibilities of children's
towards their parents and also the parents
responsibilities towards their children.

29. Summer Vacation Course 2012.
April-May 2012.
45 Days summer camp held at four places in Goa
Mapusa, Madgaon, Vasco & Sankhlim.
Subjects-
Certificate Course.- Arabic, Urdu And Deeniyat.
200 beneficiary students.
A final get to gather program was held at Mapusa
Islamic centre for all this students.
Arranged inter class competitions and felicitated
the winners

31. Teachers Orientation Program
32 teachers across Goa who are busy with
moulding the character of kids are being
continuously upgraded by 3 orientations
programmes, in addition CDs on child
psychology and human behaviour have been
provided so that this will help them to tackle
the kids effectively.
33. Future Projects Of BIE.
Insha'Allah the future projects of BIE include.
a) Designing of new syllabus.
b) Plan for a 3 year certificate course.
Course Content. Arabic, Urdu And Qur’an.
c) To keep an eye on the syllabus of government for anti
Islamic elements.
d)To set up an English medium school for competitive secular
education.
Alhamdulillah this is a brief introduction of the
achievements carried out by BIE for the last 1 year.
