This piece of art is the Red Jaguar Throne .This sculpture may have been a throne for the high priest .It is a Jaguar figure coloured in Red .They used very sharpened geometrical for model this throne. The jade was used for the eyes and the spots on the coat, while the Jaguar is fangs were made for flint. This sculpture was found at Chichen Itza in the Castillo and it belongs to the classic period .There are four snakes made of small turquoise jewels which are symbol of fertility and the cross also symbolises the north, south, east and west.
