documentary.Iwasstartingto
cut bitsof thisfootage upso it
wouldfitinwiththe gap it
neededtobe in.
In thisscreenshot(above) Ihadeditedsome
effectsintothe documentary.The effectIhad
selectedandsituatedinthiswasdiptoblack.
The reasonI put dipto blackin here wasto try
and breakup the flow andillustrate thatwe
had movedonto a differentquestioninthe
interview stage sothe audiencedidn’tget
confused.

scene intoblackand white togive ita more serious
but still spookyeffect.Ithoughtthiseffectwouldbe
goodbecause like Isaidit helpsgive the feelof anold
classichorror show butagain isnot to silly and
doesn’tputpeople off the understandingof how
seriousthe documentaryis.
In thisscreenshotIwasplayingaboutwiththe audio
of joshspeaking.We hadanissue that the audiowas
a little toolow fromotherparts and soI played
aboutwiththe audiogain andchannels.Iincreased
the audiogainto bust the soundup,so we could
hearJosh a lotclearerinthis clipandit worked.The
audiogainwas increasedtoaroundthe 12 – 14 mark
whichmade Joshesaudioforthisclipa lotbetter.I
alsofoundan issue withsome of the audiocoming
throughone headphone andwithsome time
investigatingImanagedtofindaudiochannelsand
sortedout the audiosoit came throughboth.
