➜ Poland is located in Central Europe, in the
basin of the Wisła river.
➜ Our capital city is Warsaw, the biggest city
in Poland, with over 1,7 million citizens!
➜ Poland is a member of many organizations,
for instance NATO, EU and UN.

center of Poland, it’s
also the 3rd largest
city in our country.

back as far as to the

6. The textile
industry
In the 19th century, the city
became an industrial
center. Economy of Łódź
heavily relied on the textile
industry, and people from
all over Europe migrated to
Poland to work in factories.

7. Factories now
A lot of these factories are well preserved.
Instead of getting demolished, they got
renovated and are now used as, for example
shopping malls and restaurants!

In the revitalised buildings of the former
Lodz Power Plant there is a Science and
Technology Centre - the biggest in our
country, a newly opened Comic and
Interactive Narration Centre, an interactive
play space for kids - “Elemental Street”, and
also the most modern Planetarium in Europe!

Laser paintball

paintball..
Except you don’t
