2. The following chart demonstrates that out of
63 responses 35(55.6%) people prefer
watching psychological horror movies.
However, 5(7.9%) people likes to watch
Glory/slasher horror. 4(6.3%) people would
love watching Possession while 2(3.2%)
would love watching zombies. Comedy
movies would be liked by 3(3.2%).Drama,
Action, Thriller, Rom Com, Romance,
Mysterious, Crime and Adventurous would
be liked by 1(1.6%) of person each.
Clearly indicating that majority prefer
psychological horror movies.
3. The following pie chart clearly indicates that out of 67
responses, 39 (58.2%) people were of age 15-17,
whereas, 25 (37.3%) people were between 18-25 . 2
people (3%) were somewhere between 26-30 while
only 1 (1.5) person was 30+.
This proves that people of young age would prefer
psychological horror movies.
4. The following pie chart demonstrates that
out of 67 responses, 24(35.8%) people opted
‘Don’t look back’ as a best title, 21 people
(31.3%) opted ‘If you dare’ 13 people (19.4%)
chose ‘Hide and Seek: The Final game’.
However, 6 people (9%) chose ‘The house in
the corner’. ‘Adventurous’, ‘The Red Room’
and ‘Liars always lie’ is selected by 1 person
(1.5%) each.
This declares ‘Don’t look back’ and ‘If you
dare’ as the most preferable titles for
psychological horror movies.
5. The response was responded by 68 people
out of which 31(45.6) people watch
psychological horror movies once a Month,
11(16.2%) people watch such movies once a
year. While, exactly same amount of people
11, (16.2%) are watching psychological
horror movies every week. There’s also a
huge amount of people, around 13 (19.1%)
would never watch such movies. However,
there’re only 2 people ( 2.9%) who love
watching every day.
Indicating that majority people would watch
it once a month or year rather than every
day and every week.
6. After watching a psychological horror
movies, out of 64, 21(32.8%) people feel fear,
12 (18.8%) suffer from sleeplessness. 8
(12.5%) people get anxiety while 6 people
(9.4%) gets desensitization. 3 people(4.7%)
get worried.
Furthermore, 7 people (11%) feel absolutely
nothing. Very few amount of people feel
entertainment, get laughter fits and some
remains normal.
Concluding, majority feels fear after watching
psychological horror movies.
7. For 28/66 (42.4%) people, ‘not so scary
movies’ puts them off watching a horror film,
while 9 (13.6%) people opted crudeness as a
reason. 15 people (22.7%) consider ‘bad
acting’ as the reason which puts them off.
However, ‘Too much realism’ is also the big
reason and 8(12.1%) people chose this
option. ‘Spoof’, bad acting’ and ‘very scary
are also the options opted by less people,
declaring ‘not so scary’ as a major reason for
putting them off watching a horror movies.
8. Thrill/ adrenaline rush is selected by 31
(47.7%) people as their favorite aspect of a
Psychological horror film. The 17 (26.2%)
people chose the unknown. 5 (7.7%) people
chose blood and gore as their favorite
aspect.
Come to conclusion, the favorite aspect of a
psychological horror movies is a thrill/
Adrenaline.
9. On the scale of 1-10, 7 (10.1%) people rated
1, 5 (7.2%) people rated 2. Moreover, 3 was
rated by 3 people (4.3%) ,4 was rated by 4
(5.8%) people and 5 was rated by 5(7.2%)
people apparently. Furthermore, 3 (4.3%)
people rated 6. 7 (11.6%) people rated 8. 16
(23.2%) people rated 8. 7 people(10.1%)
people made 9 their choice and lastly, 11
(15.9%) people rated 10.
Conclusively, 8 is the most rated number
representing the people who like watching
psychological horror movies.
