3. Issac Asimov was an American writer and professor
of biochemistry at Boston University.
He was known for his works of science fiction and
popular science.
Asimov was born in petrovichi,Russsian SFSR on 2nd
January,1920.
His parents were Anna Rachael & Judah Asimov, a
family of Jewish millers.
Later, Asimov was growing up in Brooklyn, New York.
Graduating at 15, he attended the City College of
New York.
He completed his Master of Arts degree in chemistry
in 1941 and earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in
chemistry in 1948.

began with short stories in 1939 till the “ The Naked
Sun”(1957).
Asimov believed his most enduring contributions
would be his “Three Laws of Robotics” &
“Foundation Series”.
Asimov coined the term “robotics” without
suspecting that it might be an original word.
“The Positronic Man” by Asimov was adapted
into the 1999 movie Bicentennial Man, starring
Robin Williams.
Asimov published his autobiography I. Asimov: A
Memoir(1994) covers his whole life story.
Asimov writing style in fictional work is
extremely unornamented.
