Overall portfolio: Worked on Technical and Commercialization aspects of distillery unit; Managed day-to-
day operation without any interruptions: Led Balrampur Distillery Division with plant capacity of 160 KLPD
ENA/RS, and 100 KLPD Power Alcohol; Looked after the availability/allotment of Molasses, production of
RS/ENA/SDS/ODS/Absolute alcohol, chemical consumption in fermentation/ETP/DM water/Boiler, and quality
of Raw Materials likemolasses, chemicals, and bottling materials; Ensure quality of finished goods products like
RS/ENA/IMFL and Country liquor blends and strength of absolute alcohol by implementing quality standards

The Balrampur Chini Mills Ltd. is molasses based distillery and overall recovery comes above 22.5% based on
45% TRS in molasses. Keeping in view of minimum chemical consumption, the fermentation efficiency comes
around 90.0% and distillation efficiency comes around 98.5%. To maintain the fermentation efficiency, hygienic
condition is always maintain considering it on top priority. Losses almost become zero by keeping concentration
on repairs / maintenance and modification.
Further except R.S. / ENA / AA other products (SDS/ODS) are also supplied in bulk to different parities in all
over India. The denaturant are mixed in R.S. as per party requirement to fulfill their demand.
The company has DM water plant followed up by R.O system (make MS ion exchange IND Ltd.) with capacity of
10 KL/Hr. which was required for earlier in bottling section and now for Bio-gas boiler(make –THERMAX). The
water quality required is really important for smooth running of boilers and strict monitoring is also required
regarding its chargingchemical dosingresin quality and other parameters as well.
Bottling Plant installation, Management, and Production
Bottling: Managed operation of bottling having one automatic and five semi-automatic conveyers
with maximum production. Developed a new production line for producing low alcoholic beverage that
increased firm’s profit about more than 1.5crores early.
Production Planning: Developed, scheduled, and maintained production planning to fulfill the
requirement of R.S./ENA/Abs. Alcohol/IMFL/CL in increase the production capacity by 60%.
2. Quality Control: Managed all aspects of quality control for brewage and alcoholic production, raw
materials, and finished products.
Blending: Sophistication and blending knowledge of Whisky, Brandy, Gin, Rum, Vodka and other
Indian made foreign liquors preparation as per their standard specification. Checking organoleptically
quality as well as chemical analysis of finished products.
Quality control of raw material: Complete knowledge of checking of raw material & packing
material like molasses, rectified spirit, ENA malt spirit, water analysis, and blends.
Complete checking of blending materials like caramel, essences and additives.
Checking of packing materials like cartoons, bottles, PP seals, labels, and gums.
Spirit storage & maturation: Supervision of spirit storage to avoid wastage and maturation of
malt spirit, rum spirit to maintain consistency in products.
Demineralization water plant: Operation analysis, quality checking of water, problems and
remedies.
Effluent treatment plant:
Achieved zero discharge of effluent by installation bio-methanation plant .Further RO System installed
to reduce the quantity of effluent followed by bio-composting system by utilization of RO reject,
ensuring zero discharge. In this regards, further update technology is in progress by applying
incineration system which include evaporator (capacity 1500KLPD), boiler (capacity 40TPH) and
producing power by turbine (capacity 5MW).
Installation of New Plant and its overall impact:
In my leadership, Balrampur Chini Mills Ltd. (Chemical division) has increased its capacity from
100KLPD to 160KLPD by installing a new PLANT (MPR) capacity of 60KLPD from wash to
RS/ENA/Absolute alcohol. Simultaneously 02 Nos. digesters has also installed at ETP site with installing
RO Plant and Bio-Gas boiler.
Balrampur distillery division now have increased boiler capacity from 12.00 to 40 TPH and turbine
capacity from 1.2 MW to 5.0MW also which will supply for internal power consumption as well as it will
also supply power to UP-Electricity board as per present planning.
I installed BIO-METHANATION treatment plant and Aeration system at ETP site at The Narang
Industries Nawabganj Gonda. The biogas produced by bio-methanation plant, save rupees 1.5crores in
terms of fuel cast.
