to a computer network (e.g., the
Internet)."
5. LITERATURE REVIEW
In this section, there is a review of existing
literature which helps to clarify the nature of the
problem, while highlighting gaps. It explains how
the present research brings out to open the gap
or problems through an examination of literature
by other researchers. In order to survey the
studies in the area of electronic resources and
their use, a number of sources were consulted.

14. CONCLUSIONS
The present age is rightly characterized as the
age of information. The fact that information is a
key resource for the economic, socio-cultural and
political development of a nation is gaining
increasing acceptance. Electronic resources
have ushered in a variety of media that can help
library information management systems in
efficient and effective acquisition, organization
and dissemination of information. E-resources
have found increasing acceptance in library and
information centres.
