1. Q7. Looking back at your preliminary
task, what do you feel you have learnt in the
progression from it to the full product?
2. Preliminary Magazine Music Magazine
I think looking back at this
preliminary magazine it is very
shocking that I have come so
far with the skills on
Photoshop after comparing
both of the magazines I made.
I think the biggest difference
on both of them is the cover
lines and the way they are so
much different, part being the
strap behind the ones on the
music magazine. There is also
a big change in the main
images and the quality of
them.
What helped a lot with my
music magazine is the
research of other rock
magazines I did.
My skills have improved a lot
with Photoshop and you can
tell this just by looking at both
magazines and the way the
editing is a lot different. With my preliminary magazine for editing that one all I did was take the background out and add some images
and text. With my music magazine I had a lot of editing and changing with it. I took the background from the image and added a shadow, I
also changed a lot with the logo. The logo was different with the preliminary it was just plain and curved whereas the music logo was big
bold, coloured, had a shadow and was also behind the head of the model in the main image.
I am really happy with how my skills have changed over the projects and I can now do things and I know things I didn’t know before and I
will be able to use this in future projects.
