EVALUATION QUESTION 7
1. Looking back to your preliminary task, what do you feel
that you have learnt in the progress from it to the full
product?
2. The things that I have learnt about the
conventions of magazine productions is
that it takes a lot of work to do, it was a
lot of work for me, by myself to make
three different things, to make a good
magazine you need a lot of people to
make one magazine, you need people
taking pictures of the models that will be
in the magazine and you need people to
write the reviews and other content.
3. The progress that I have made since my
preliminary task is that I have learnt to use more
software’s, how to take powerful pictures, the
colour schemes of the magazine and much more.
Here is my student magazines and my music
magazine:
4. Looking at both my front covers on my school
magazine and my music magazine, I noticed
that my photography was the same on both
covers, but comparing everything else, my
skills using Photoshop on my student
magazine wasn’t as well as it was on my
music magazine, I used different fonts on my
front cover on my music magazines and on
my student magazine, I used one font and can
seem boring to readers.
5. From my pencil sketches to my final product,
I see a big difference because the pencil
sketch is what I imagine my product will look
like, but when it comes to the final product, it
is much better than what I expected.
6. When people have seen my final
product, they normally give a
compliment and they wouldn’t need to
ask what genre it is because of the
name of the magazine, the models and
their costumes and the information that
is put on my product.
