The document discusses plans for an opening title sequence (OTS), including using a bold, informal font in red and black colors. It considers using medium or small sized text and left-to-right, right-to-left, or fade in/out animations. The text will start before the first shot and continue during the sequence, placed using the rule of thirds to stand out without confusing the audience.
2. Which font we will use
• We’ve decided as a group
that we will use the
“Informal” Typestyle in
bold writing.
3. The colour and text we will use
• The colour we will use in the OTS is a mix of red and black colours. We
will use this when necessary to make it stand out against the OTS or the
black screen and to grab the attention of the audience.
The size of the text in our OTS will be medium sized or small sized. We may
consider medium sized since it seems like the appropriate size for text in
an intro.
4. Animation
• The animation we will use in our OTS to show off our
editing skills and to engage our audience in our OTS
will either be left to right or right to left transitions
• OR
• Fade in/out animations which seems more dramatic
than the left to right transition.
5. Text
• The text will start before the first shot is shown (production
company credits) then will continue during the OTS.
• We want to accomplish fitting our text into our OTS, having it
stand out from the OTS, placing it using the rule of thirds and
have our audience focussing on it without it collaborating or
mixing with the OTS and then confusing the audience.
