Learner-Centered Design aims to develop the independence of the learner by making learner active in his learning path.
In this curriculum design , a child’s needs and interests cannot be anticipated, students design their own learning, construct and revise their knowledge through direct participation and active observation.
Humanistic Design curriculum is based on the belief that the education that is good for a person is also best for the well-being of the nation. Here , the individual learner is not regarded as a passive or at least easily managed recipient of input.
Problem-Centered Curriculum is a student-centered pedagogy in which students learn about a subject through the experience of solving an open-ended problem.
Life-situation design –uses the learner’s past and present experiences.
Core Design Curriculum-Its central focus includes common needs , problems ,concerns of the learners.
