2. Characteristics
Most of Japanese students are willing to take part in the
internships whose duration is under 8 weeks both for
GCDP and GIP. For GIP, the shorter duration is better to
our customers. But also, many of them are willing to take
part in GIP for over a half year.
As you can see on "Apply Data(p3)" , most of our
applicants request AP region.
Mainly undergraduate.
Mostly in AP region.
*TNs are very suitable for Japanese students in terms of
its realization timeline.
Most of our EPs match with TNs which "Japanese" is
required or preferred.
GCDP : August and February. *Based on our academic
calendar. (Reference: "Japan Info")
GIP: Autumn(Sep.-Oct.) and Spring(Mar. - Apr.)
*Based on our Job Hunting timeline.
June-July and November-December.
*This term, we are planning to adjust matching peaks on
May-June and Oct-December, in order to align with the
global peak time.

Outcome
The gap of the expectation
towards the eXchange between
AIESEC and our customers brings
us low raise / match rate. Not only
the gap of the expectation, but
also the gap of the timeline
between AIESEC in Japan and
the other entities is a serious
problem. We need to adjust these
gaps mentioned above as soon as
possible.

5. OGX Delivery System
Departure
According to XPP, we have the responsibilities of letting you know the flight
schedule before leaving. We AIESEC in Japan will let you know that info 15
days before his/her departure. So please make sure that you also let us know
pick-up info.
Matching
Before exchanging ANs, please note that you have to let EPs know whether
you are going to pick him/her up or not for sure.
Contract
We make a contract with those who pass the tests. After this contract, they
officially have got an "available EP" status and start matching.
Preparation
Before leaving Japan, we are going to tell each EP about "Risk Management in
Overseas". Also, we have some preparation events related to their Job
Descriptions for EPs.
Student Review Board Test/ Paper Test
We have this interview test to avoid sending the EPs who do not have enough
motivation for this opportunity or do not have English speaking/hearing abilities
enough to protect themselves. Paper test focuses on the risk management.
Re-Integration
We provide "Re-Integration" opportunities for our EPs to make the best of
their worthy eXchange experience after they are back to Japan.
Consultations
AIESEC members will talk about the further information about AIESEC and
AIESEC eXchanges to the applicants. We try to adjust the gap between the
applicants and AIESEC. We also consult the applicants to help them to think
why they are willing to take part in AIESEC eXchanges and how they wants to
make the best of this opportunity.
Apply
Those who are interested in AIESEC eXchanges send the application form
to AIESEC in Japan. Then MCOGX will allocate the applicants to the
suitable LCs.
