3. The CHS Technology Action Plan: Outlines the professional development strategies that will ensure the staff knows how to use technology to improve the education of CHS students Includes an evaluation process that will enable the district to monitor the progress of each goal and respond in a positive way
4. The Role of the Principal and Administration: is instrumental in making sure the Technology Action Plan is monitored and implemented. School administration must be proactive. They must be active in the planning and implementation process regarding technology. It is the responsibility of the school administration to review and analyze technology assessments such as the Texas STaR Chart and the Texas Long Range Plan for Technology. In doing this, the principal/school administration is able to act on strengths and weaknesses of the campus and staff and is more apt to provide training in and integration of technology. Principals must provide continuous professional development to their staff in implementing technology during instruction. A principal must also be a role model by using technology on a daily basis in order to enhance learning and instruction on the campus.

6. STUDENT EVALUATION: Students will complete an essay regarding technology at the beginning and end of the school year. After evaluating the surveys CHS campus personnel will be able to tell where our strengths and weaknesses are. An example of the survey I used on my technology plan can be found at the site listed below. I edited the survey to fit my school’s needs. KealakeheHigh School. (2005). 7. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT EVALUATION: After each professional development course, each teacher will be asked to fill out a survey regarding the course. An example of the survey I used on my technology plan can be found at the site listed below. I edited the survey to fit my school’s needs. Christian Schools of Florida. (2005).
