2. The opening shot
• I plan to open my thriller with a scene of the two detectives talking.
They will reveal that one of the seven deadly the sins have just
arrived in London and are wanted by 23 countries for murder, theft
and criminal damage. Then they will get a call saying the sin has
struck again and leave in a hurry.
• Then it will go to a murder in a dark alley. The body will be left with
a sign which reads ‘Wrath is the most dangerous of sins’. The
detectives will the swear under their breath and complain that they
had to get ‘Wrath’.
• Then we will fade to a black room with just a computer screen
lighting up a woman. The woman will be typing and only viewed
from the back. We will see her chat and it will show that she is the
sin ‘Wrath’ and she is talking to her partners. Then it will fade to
titles after showing her lips illuminated by the computer light…
3. Camera shots
• I plan to use low angle shots when trying to make
things look more powerful.
• I plan to use high angle shots when trying to make
things look weaker.
• I plan to use an extreme close up to add mystery to my
killer.
• I plan to use a Tracking shot (tracking in), to make my
killer seem more intimidating.
• I plan to use an over the shoulder shot, to make the
dead body seem smaller.
• I plan to use a point of view shot to make the laptop
focus more apparent.
