• Each mini pod pause is now spent on the floor and is about
patient safety rather than collecting data for the department
safety pause
• Department safety pauses are much more efficient - we run
through real-time data then spend much more time focussing
on patient safety
• The Flow nurse uses the dashboard real-time to direct the
triage nurse when allocating patients to pods
