2. Purpose
The purpose of this magazine is to inform the readers
about our input on a specific set of Sci-Fi films, more
specifically, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles which is
now under new production management.
I want the magazine to be a way for people to save
money on films which we (the creators of the
magazine) believe aren’t worth spending money on,
and each magazine is bound to include many films
so that overall, money is saved for the readers.

3. Form and
Genre
I have chosen the Sci-Fi genre because to this day
it’s one of the biggest film genres out there, also
my main focus is the Teenage Mutant Ninja
Turtles which has a huge influence on kids
nowadays but also teens and young adults due to
them growing up with these Sci-Fi films/shows.
I tend to promote this magazine both in shops
and having an online purchase option so that its
easy access and so you could have a physical and
a virtual copy of the magazine.

4. Content
The magazine is set to include images from both film series:
Transmorphers, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, it will
include images from both, a small Q&A with someone who
was significant to the creation of the films, a small interview
with the voice actors for the main characters in the films,
brief description of how each movie was filmed, and how CGI
was included in these films.

5. Target Audience
• The primary audience for this magazine is kids
and teens (mainly ages 6-15) who wish to watch
and understand the two-film series discussed
earlier.
• The secondary audience is people who watched
the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at a young age
and want to relieve their childhood because of
the nostalgia felt with this series.

The magazine will be promoted in social media applications such as
Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, Sci-Player, etc. I hope to have
advertisements of the magazine around comic shops and an ad on
a newspaper which could get publicity out for the magazine.

8. Sci-Player
This app is called Sci-Player, it’s an app which
specializes in Sci-Fi films by broadcasting them and
giving brief descriptions for each movie included in
the app, the app is going to allow free users to see
the selection of movies but not watch them,
people who have paid for our paid plan get to
watch films uninterrupted, with no ads, and the
ability to download films and stream them offline,
the price for this app is £6.99 a month.

• The total amount of money spent
will be roughly £2,800, not
including computer systems.
• With the magazine being priced at
£6.99 physically, and £4.99
virtually, I will need to sell roughly
550 physical copies, or 690 virtual
copies to make profit for this
magazine.

• Sci-Fi now is a Sci-Fi film magazine company which are
one of the biggest Sci-Fi magazine today, you can access
these magazines in shop for roughly £5.25, or you can find
their magazines for free on their website, but it requests
you to sign up as a member free of charge. The Scientist
magazine may cost more but its much more effective for
readers because our reviews have been carefully
considered by our whole team rather than just a single
person so people end up saving money on films we don’t
think are as interesting.

This font has been chosen to present the magazine because of its iconic background in the Sci-Fi
community dating back to the 1980s when Sci-Fi was quite new to the film industry, If you are
wondering about copywrite issues, we will contact the original creators of this font to ask them about
using this specific font, but also, due to the font being so overused in the past 30/40 years, the creators
have lost their ability to copywrite for this font.
This font has been considered as an effective font due to its futuristic look and how in the Sci-Fi universe,
it’s used to present futuristic aspects such as robots and the second film series focused on in this
magazine is Transmorphers which is full of robots.

16. This is the title of the magazine with the main masthead font
(StarJedi), Its effective to present the magazine because it has a
strong link to the Sci-Fi genre and it presents aspects of science, and
the future.
