1. Sweden is covered up to 55% of forest, wich equals the
Surface of Great Britain. Sweden exports a lot of wood
products into the whole world. The most common tree in
Sweden is called “fir”

2. First, foresting machines pull knifes through the earth. Then, the trees are planted.
After about 15 years, sick or dead trees get harvested to help the better trees grow
faster and easier.This Process is repeated a few times.
After 30 to 40 years, all the trees get harvested and are sold to furniture industry(45%),
Paper production(45%), Biomass for the Biogas plant(10%).
